Terry Pendred, 74, of Au Gres

Terry David Pendred, 74, of Au Gres MI passed away with family by his side on May 30, 2024. Terry was born in Omer on June 1, 1949, to Ellen and Archie Pendred. He grew up alongside his brother Lynn Pendred on their family farm in Au Gres. He graduated from Au Gres-Sims High School in 1967. After graduation he joined the United States Navy. Following his time in the Navy he returned home to Au Gres and worked in tool & die maintenance for forty years at Bopp-Busch Manufacturing before retiring.

He married the love of his life Joyce Pendred on June 19, 1976. Together they had two children, Daniel and Michelle. Terry enjoyed his annual herring and whitefish trip to Whiskey Bay, St. Joseph Island in Canada. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and golfing. Terry loved all sports, he enjoyed playing, coaching, and watching them. He hardly ever missed watching a Tigers or Lions game. He also loved playing cards and spending time with his family. 

Terry will be greatly missed and forever held in the hearts of his wife, Joyce Pendred, children Dan (Amanda) Pendred, Michelle (Lenny) Pendred-Svanberg, his grandchildren Elexis, Gabriel, Addison, and Charley Pendred, brother Lynn (Sue) Pendred, goddaughter Toria Sanislo, and his many other nieces and nephews. Terry is predeceased by his parents, Ellen and Archie Pendred.

A viewing was held at Buresh Funeral Home in Au Gres on Monday, June 3rd. Dinner followed at Edmonds Au Gres Inn. You may leave an online condolence at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
