Richard Stoll, Jr., 57, of Tawas City

Age 57, of Tawas City, Michigan, passed away on January 27, 2024. Richard was born to Richard Stoll Sr. and Patricia Bell on January 26, 1967, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was raised in the Royal Oak area and following his high school graduation, Richard enlisted into the United States Air Force where he served our country proudly. After his time in the service, he moved to California where he resided for 30 years. Richard was a very talented and knowledgeable man when it came to the Aviation field. In 2016 Richard moved to Tawas City, Michigan, where he took a job with Kalitta Air as a lead avionics technician, a job he’s had for the last eight years. He married Robyn Stoll in California on October 27, 2012, and the two spent the next 12 years together happily married. Some of Richard’s favorite hobbies included motorcycles, target shooting, photography, and spending quality time with his family. He was also a member of the Iosco County Sportsman Club.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Robyn Stoll; children, Brooklynn (Todd) Hudson, Nikkole (Greg) Richardson, and Brittney (Alex) McDonald; parents, Richard Sr. and Patricia Stoll; brother, Andrew “Boomer” Stoll; sister, Beth (Jim) Hockenberger; grandchildren, Liam Richardson, Fernando Hudson, Alina Hudson, Tye Hudson; nieces and nephews, Kaylnn Wallace, Samantha Hockenberger, Joshua Hockenberger, and Ethan Hockenberger. Richard is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Stoll.

There will be a memorial service held for Richard at Buresh Funeral Homes in Tawas City, Michigan on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The family will welcome the public for a time of visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. You are welcome to leave an online condolence at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
