Lewis Ollie Miller, age 74 of Prescott, MI., passed away on August 14, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 16, 1948 in Selkirk, MI., to the late Merle and Ruth (Burtch) Miller. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Prescott where he was in the lumber industry as a self-employed businessman and employed by other lumber businesses.
Lewis married the love of his life, Judy Jane (Loar) Miller on January 20, 1973. They had over 50 wonderful years together.
He retired in 2010 from lumbering and continued on with his love of fishing and hunting, especially with his wife, sons and brothers. Lewis loved watching football and was a dedicated fan of the Detroit Lions. He enjoyed mushroom hunting too, but more than anything else he loved spending time with his family and particularly his daily walks with Judy.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Chad (Candee), Adam (Claudia), and Curt (Jamie); brothers, Dave (Toni), Alex (Diane), and John; sisters, Dixie (Roy) and Dina (Ron); grandchildren, Ashlee (Kyle), Clayton, Lauren (Nick), Riley (Alyssa), Blake, Brenden, and many nieces and nephews.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents; son Jason; brothers, Wayne, Merle, and Jim; sisters, Emma and Betty.
