HALE – There’s nothing better than having a little school spirit, so why not make a group dedicated to it? SOAR is a club made for promoting school spirit, whether it’s making a banner for the student section, or picking out themes for different sporting events. It’s a great student bonding experience with many coming together and communicating on different ideas. Some of the themes for past sporting events have been pink out, tropical night, and construction. People who are a part of SOAR take the time to come up with these themes and to decorate for them too. A lot of hard work and determination goes into all of this for some school spirit to help support our sports teams. Having a well organized and encouraging student section is crucial for these teams because it’s that extra bit of excitement coming from the stands that makes teammates on the court more motivated.
