TICKETS ON SALE 10TH ANNUAL WINE & CRAFT BEER TASTING This winter marks the 10th anniversary of the Annual Wine & Craft Beer Tasting hosted by the Friends of the Roscommon Area District Library. The annual fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 16 from 3:00 - 6:00 pm at the R.A. MacMullen Conference Center. Last pour will be at 5:30. At least ten wines and multiple craft beers, selected by John Bennick of Fifth Street Wines & Market in Roscommon, will be available for sampling. Delicious warm and cold hors d’oeuvres, prepared by Fred’s of Roscommon and chocolates will be served along with coffee, tea and pop. Again by popular demand, guests may purchase chances for themed baskets and enter to win the baskets they want. Orders will also be taken for wines, at discounted prices, credit cards accepted. Tickets are $25 ($30 at door) and are available from any Friends member, at RADL, Lyon Branch Library and Fifth Street Wines & Market. Purchasers need to be 21 & older. Payment for tickets by cash or check is accepted. The Friends of RADL raise funds to support the library. Last year the Friends provided over $5,000 towards the library’s programs and services for all ages. For more information, please call the library at 989-281-1305 or email friendsofradl@gmail.com.
