  • Free Thanksgiving dinner given

    ROSCOMMON - A free Thanksgiving meal was offered to anyone who wanted to attend at Rosco’s Restaurant in Roscommon Nov. 22 through the generosity of many local organizations and people. Over 300 people attended the meal. Around 150 meals were also delivered to local businesses, sheriff’s department, gas stations and more.

  • Children’s Bereavement Network receives grant from RCCF

    ROSCOMMON - The Roscommon County Community Foundation (RCFF) is pleased to announce they have awarded their fourth #CommunityChoice grant to Children’s Bereavement Network to support Camp Live Laugh Love. Children’s Bereavement Network was nominated by the community and ultimately received the most “likes” in Facebook resulting in a big win for their organization. Children’s Bereavement Network was presented with a $1,000.00 grant funded by the Ambassador Club Fund.

  • Roscommon senior signs with Aquinas baseball

    GRAND RAPIDS - The Aquinas baseball team and head coach Doug Greenslate have announced the signing of catcher Dane Smitz to the Saints.

    Smitz comes from Roscommon, Michigan and attended Roscommon High School. He will join the Saints next fall in preparation for the 2019-20 season.
